The policy

Wrong is wrong. When a brief gets a fact wrong, two things happen: the page gets fixed, and the next edition says what we got wrong and what the right answer is, in the same place you read the original. No quiet edits, no disappearing paragraphs. The correction note stays in the archive so the record shows both the mistake and the fix.

How to flag an error

Email Jake@buildaxiom.ai with the story, the claim, and what you believe is right. A link or a document helps but isn't required. Every flag gets checked against the original source, and you'll get a straight answer either way: fixed, or here's why the brief stands.

The round-down rule

When a number is soft, we publish the conservative end. A range gets reported at its low end. A projection gets labeled a projection. A figure that only exists in one press release gets a confidence tag instead of a headline. If sources disagree, the brief says so rather than picking the bigger number. Better to undersell a story than hand you a number that doesn't hold up when you repeat it to an adjuster or a banker.
