THE RESTORATIONHQ

What this is

A news desk for the restoration industry. Machines do the reading. You get the signal and a straight take on what it means for a shop.

Where it comes from

Every few days an automated sweep reads the restoration trade press, the coverage-law blogs, the carrier and P&C press, and a map of roughly a hundred web angles: Xactimate pricing, PE deals, OSHA moves, state licensing, storm outlooks, software launches. A relevance gate throws out the noise. What survives gets written up as a brief: the story, why it matters to an operator, an argument for it, an argument against it, and the contrarian read worth owning.

How to read a story card

Heat: Hot / Warm / Cool
How much debate the story will generate and how fast it moves. Hot means it changes something now.
Confidence dot
Green is primary sources or trade press. Amber is mixed sourcing. Gray is advocacy or a single source. Treat gray-dot stories as leads, not facts.
Category chip and arc tag
The topic hub the story files under, and the ongoing storyline it belongs to. Click the arc tag to see the whole thread on the Radar page.
FOR / AGAINST
Two honest readings of the same story: the supportive case and the skeptical case. Both are defensible. Pick the one that matches what you actually believe.
Consensus vs. contrarian
What everyone is saying, then the sharper unpopular take.

Want the desk to dig into something?

Start with the plain-English explainers: what O&P is, how TPA program work trades margin for volume, what an AOB does, and how the desk rates stories.

Use the Give me info button in the top bar. Tell it what you're chasing (a carrier move, a rule change, a platform, a deal) and the desk searches everything it tracks, logs the request, and works it into a future brief when the reporting is there.

Who is behind it

The Restoration HQ is an Axiom · Restoration360 intelligence product, built and read by operators. The sweep, the gate, and the site are automated; the judgment calls are not.
